Exchanging Dialogues was a collaborative project based in Hanoi, Vietnam. The project started as an online based partnership between students of the fine art university in Hanoi and Minerva Academie in Groningen. By discussing design and cultural approaches students made artworks in pairs which resulted in a collection of visual haikus. The first exhibition was displayed in the Dutch Embassy in Hanoi and was so successful that the project was further realised the following year, where a group of us traveled to Hanoi to work physically with our partners to produce and coordinate a bigger exhibition that created a closer bond and deeper dialogue about current events and how to raise awareness through using art and design as a platform.
